Shockwave Therapy (EPAT)
What it is it?
Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology (EPAT) or “shockwave therapy” uses acoustic pressure waves technology to treat musculoskeletal pain. It is a fast, effective, and non-invasive way to treat conditions. This FDA–cleared method is already gaining momentum in the athletic community as being an effective alternative to surgery.
Treatments last about 7-10 minutes and most conditions have a recommended treatment plan of 4-6 sessions at a weekly duration.
